FOR VOLUNTEERS
Build real digital skills - locally
Gain practical experience delivering digital productivity tools through real projects in the community.
Why we run a volunteer pathway
Across the Northern Rivers, many people want to build digital skills but struggle to find local opportunities to apply what they’ve learned, real-world experience that counts and clear pathways into meaningful work. We designed our volunteer pathway to help close that gap.
This is learning by doing, with support. Volunteers are supported to:
- Learn how practical digital tools, automation and AI are used in real organisations
- Build expereience through scoped projects with local not-for-profits
- Work with the same tools and standards used in commercial engagements
- Develop confidents, capability and credible experience.
Who this suits
You don’t need to be an expert – curiousity and reliability matter more. This pathway may suit people who are:
Early in their career or career changers
Returning to the workforce
Interested in digital automoation or technology-enabled work
Motivated to contribute to their local community.
How it works
Participation begins with a conversation to understand your interests, availability and suitability. Projects are carefully scoped and supported throughout. There is no obligation to continue beyond what makes sense to you.
